Citizens of Georgia who protested against the adoption of the Russian law aimed at isolating Georgia from the democratic world suffered from the use of tear gas and water cannons. SWAT police used a powerful asphyxiant gas that stinged the eyeys and paralyzed the respiratory system of hundreds of demonstrators, and the liquid used in water cannons also stinged the eyes. Despite this, the number of people arriving at the parliament building in support of the demonstrators is constantly growing. I am a citizen of Georgia, a journalist, and also the mother of a son and daughter who are participants in this protest and I don’t know what condition they are in, because I can’t establish contact with them. It's terrible when a government betrays its people.
