ჰანს როსლინგი - შვედი ექიმი, აკადემიკოსი და სტატისტიკოსი, ფონდ Gapminder-ის დამფუძნებელი.
სხვადასხვა დროს ის იყო ჯანდაცვის მსოფლიო ორგანიზაციის, გაეროს და რამდენიმე საერთაშორისო სააგენტოს მრჩეველი, შვედეთში „ექიმები საზღვრებს გარეშეს“ ინიციატორი. 2010 წელს BBC-ზე როსლინგის დოკუმენტური ფილმი The Joy of Stats გავიდა ხოლო 2013 წელს მისი მეორე დოკუმენტური ფილმი Don’t Panic – The Truth About Population.
ჰანს როსლინგმა შექმნა კომპიუტერული პროგრამა Trendalyzer, რომელიც სხვადასხვა საერთაშორისო სტატისტიკურ მონაცემებეს ინტერაქტიულ გრაფიკებად აქცევს. 2007 წელს ეს პროგრამა Google-მა შეიძინა. როსლინგი ხშირად გამოდის TED-ზე სადაც სხვადასხვა მონაცემებს გრაფიკულად გადმოსცემს, 2009 წელს Foreign Policy Magazine-მა ის მსოფლიოს 100 გლობალურ მოაზროვნეს შორის დაასახელა, 2012 წელს ის შვედეთის მეცნიერებათა აკადემიის წევრი გახდა, ამავე წელს ჟურნალმა TIME ის მსოფლიოს 100 ყველაზე გავლენიან ადამიანს შორის დაასახელა.
ჰანს როსლინგის საჯარო ლექციის თემა იქნება „ინვესტირება ახალგაზრდების განვითარებასა და რეპროდუქციულ ჯანმრთელობაში - ინვესტირება ქვეყნის განვითარებაში“ ღონისძიება გაიმართება სასტუმრო რედისონ ბლუ ივერიაში.
აღნიშნული ღონისძება ტარდება გაეროს ერთობლივი პროგრამის „გენდერული თანასწორობის ხელშეწყობისთვის საქართველოში“ ფარგლებში, რომელიც ხორციელდება შვედეთის საერთაშორისო განვითარების სააგენტოს (Sida) მხარდაჭერით.

Hans Rosling – Swedish medical doctor, academic, statistician and public speaker, the co-founder and chairman of Gapminder Foundation.
Hans Rosling has been health adviser to WHO, UNICEF and several aid agencies. In 1993 he was one of the initiators of Médecins Sans Frontières in Sweden.
Rosling presented the television documentary The Joy of Stats, which was broadcasted in the United Kingdom by BBC Four in December 2010. He presented a documentary Don't Panic – The Truth About Population for the This World series, which appeared on BBC Two in the UK in November 2013.
Rosling is the co-founder the Gapminder Foundation together with his son Ola Rosling and daughter-in-law Anna Rosling Rönnlund. Gapminder developed the Trendalyzer software that converts international statistics into moving, interactive graphics. His lectures using Gapminder graphics to visualise world development have won awards. The interactive animations are freely available from the Foundation's website. On 16 March 2007 Google acquired the Trendalyzer software with the intention to scale it up and make it freely available for public statistics. In 2008 Google made available a Motion Chart Google Gadget and in 2009 the Public Data Explorer.
Rosling has given several TED Talks where he visualizes various international statistics, in 2009 he was listed as one of 100 leading global thinkers by Foreign Policy Magazine and in 2012 he was elected as member of the Swedish Academy of Sciences. The same year TIME magazine featured Rosling in its 100 most influential people list.
Hans Rosling’s public lecture will be on a topic – Investing in Youth Development and Reproductive Health – Investing in a Country’s Development. The event will take place at Radisson Blu Iveria.
The event is organized by the United Nations Population Fund in Georgiawithin the framework of the UN Joint Programme “To Enhance Gender Equality in Georgia” through generous support of the Swedish Government.
